Johnson and Vorhees Attorneys at Law

Congratulations to Johnson and Vorhees Attorneys At Law for being selected as the Joplin School District's Outstanding Business Partner for the month of March 2010! Johnson and Vorhees was nominated by Nila Vance, principal of Emerson Elementary, in appreciation for their support of the school.

"They are always willing to help the school," says Vance. "They are an active part of our school. Without Johnson and Vorhees, we would not be able to support the PBS (positive behavior system) initiative. Johnson and Vorhees financially support our PBS initiative by providing incentives monthly to students. Each month, they provide a pizza party for students who show our behavior expectations. They also adopt an Emerson family at Thanksgiving and Christmas. They are a company that is always willing to help whenever asked. From providing guest speakers, helping with 5th grade graduation, judging essay contests, providing gift cards for student contests, etc. The list goes on and on. We have never been turned down when we ask for help. Scott has even been known to come to some Parent Nights in the past. Scott Vorhees is a former student of Emerson and loves to support the school in every way."
