Memorial Middle School leads the way for the district using the Missouri Integrated Model (MIM)

Joplin Schools was a recipient of a grant that promotes the Missouri Integrated Model (MIM). Memorial Middle School will be taking pieces of the Professional Learning Communities, Response to Intervention (RTI), Positive Behavior Systems (PBS), and other Professional Development in order to implement a school improvement plan for Memorial Middle School. MMS will also serve as a model for other schools throughout the Joplin school district. Only a few schools throughout the state were selected to participate in this prestigious grant.

In conjunction with the Southwest Regional Professional Development Center (SWRPDC) MMS will be sharing the MIM at a district level. The district committee for this project has been named: A.L.L. Academic Leadership Legacy. All schools from across the district are participating.

The group from Memorial will be responsible for developing a plan to be presented at the state level.
