Current Middle School Sending Zones
Each Joplin elementary school feeds into one of three Joplin middle schools.
Proposed Middle School Sending Zones
New middle school sending zones have been proposed as a result of the successful passage of the 2007 Joplin School Bond Issue. The bond issue provides for new construction and renovation of Joplin's middle schools. The proposed middle school sending zone plan:
- Maintains Joplin's three middle school arrangement.
- Reflects Joplin’s neighborhood emphasis.
- Locates a middle school in the approximate center of each attendance area.
- Anchors each area of Joplin (North, South, East) with a modern facility.
